Rangers face ‘mental test’ against Whalers
Two games of crucial goof ups and groan inducing gaffes are in the playoff books after seven straight losses to en cheap wedding dresses d the long gone Ontario Hockey League regular season.
“It’s frustrating as can be right now because we’re finding ways to lose,” Spott said.
In OT, Rangers goalie Brandon Maxwell wanders behind his net to play a puck. Brown bumps him and knocks him down. Rob Czarnik gets the OT winner after a fallen Maxwell dives back to his crease. Maybe there should have been a goalie interference call. There wasn’t one. Game lost.
There is a pattern here Rangers’ mistake; Brown advantage.
The Wasaga Beach overager has been the central figure in both wins.
“Maybe. I don’t know,” Brown said after Sa cheap wedding dresses turday’s Whalers win, pointing to big James Livingston cheap wedding dresses sitting beside him in th cheap wedding dresses e Plymouth room.
“This guy and I, we just work hard.”
And they work smart too. Can’t accuse the Rangers of that after two games.
Now, they need inspiration to rally.
“I’ve been down two games before in this league and come back,” Spott said.
Six years ago Monday night, the Rangers trailed the Erie Otters 2 0 in a first round series. They even trailed Game 3 by 3 1. But Mike Richards picked them up.
The Rangers captain had two goals and two assists in a 4 3 OT win.
Kitchener took the series in six games.
“You have to rely on your older guys who have been through this before,” Spott said.
So will it be? D’Amigo? Gabriel Landeskog? Jason Akeson? Matt Tipoff?
Tipoff played on the Bulls who forced Game 7 against the Rangers in the 2008 OHL final after falling behind three love. The experience is here.
Nice club these Whalers. Skate well. Work hard. Impressive keeper in Scott Wedgewood.
But are they Whalers of Czarnik and James Devane any different than the Otters of Geoff Platt and Chris Greene? Is Wedgewood sturdier than Josh Disher proved to be six years ago? Is there a Richards the Lion Hearted lurking among these Rangers?
